Flashback: By Pass Riders of Madurai – Thirunelveli route

We did a review post of newly introduced Madurai to Tirunelveli Bye pass riders introduced by Nellai and Madurai divisions before 9 years. Initially it was introduced by Nellai and later Madurai division joined. Now most of the buses running in this route are BPRs.

Stops: VNR Byepass, Sathur by pass, Kovilpatti new BS and then tirunelveli. Thirumangalam got added after few days of introduction

Timings(old): Every 30 mins one bus. First bus starts at 3:30 AM till midnight.

Travel time: 2.45 to 3 hrs. Some BPRs covered in 2.5 hrs too.
