Flashback: SETC Registration number history

TN01 N சீரியல் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட போது திருவள்ளுவர் போக்குவரத்துக் கழகம் 1 முதல் 1000 வரையில் மற்றும் 6000 முதல் பதிவெண் கொண்டதாக இருந்தது. 2007ம் ஆண்டில் இருந்து தனித்துவமான வரிசைகள் இழந்து மாநகரப் போக்குவரத்துக் கழகத்தோடு தன் பதிவு எண்ணை பகிர்ந்து கொண்டது. மாநகரப் போக்குவரத்தின் அசுர வளர்ச்சி இன்று AN வரிசை வரை பேருந்துகள் வேகமாக வந்தவண்ணம் உள்ளன. இதில் விரைவுப் போக்குவரத்துக் கழகம் 6000 வரிசையில் இருந்து பின் சென்று 45** ஆரம்பித்து மாற்றி மாற்றி குளறுப்படியாக ஒரு பேருந்தின் பதிவெண் சொன்னால் எளிதில் அடையாளம் காண முடியாது போனது. இதில் 46** தொடங்கி வரிசைக்கு ஒன்றாக ஒரு பேருந்து படம் பதிவேற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் விடுப்பட்டப் 45, 50, 52**, பேருந்துகள் படம் இருந்தால் பதிவு செய்யவும். இப்போது இருக்கும் வரிசையில் 01AN மாநகரப் போக்குவரத்துக் கழகமும் 01EN ( EXPRESS NATIONALIZED) வரிசையை விரைவுப் போக்குவரத்துக் கழகமும் பயண்படுத்தலாம். அல்லது TN 02N TN 07N இதில் ஏதேனும் ஒன்றை பயண்படுத்தலாம்.

When TN01 N series was started, TTC was registering their buses from 1 to 1000 reg.nos and later they were alloted from 6000. From 2007, this batch allotment was stopped and SETC was asked to share their reg.nos along with MTC. Due to heavy increase in number of buses that is getting added to MTC, TN01 completed N and it moved to AN.

During this period SETC moved from 6000 to 45XX and it became difficult for us to identify the buses based on the reg nos. They started registering 1 bus each from 46XX series. If people have 45XX or 50XX, 52XX, please share it.

Suggestion from our side is MTC can continue to use TN01 and SETC can move to TN01 EN (EXPRESS NATIONALIZED) or they can also use TN02 N or TN07 N which was used by DCTC, JJTC/RGTC earlier.
