515 new buses added to TNSTC/SETC

Today Honourable CM of Tamilnadu Thiru. Edappaddi K. Palanisamy inaugurated 515 new buses of TNSTC/SETCs. These new buses were built at a cost of 134.53 crores.

Below are the split up of buses that got added to respective TNSTC divisions.

SETC – 40
TNSTC-Coimbatore – 172
TNSTC-Salem – 78
TNSTC-Villupuram – 60
TNSTC-Kumbakonam – 64
TNSTC-Madurai – 32
TNSTC-Tirunelveli – 69

After close to 3 decades, SETC got its AC Sleeper running again. SETC has got AC Sleeper, Non AC sleeper, Ultra deluxe with toilet facility, AC Seater+Sleeper added to its fleet today.
