TNSTC Virudhunagar which Started its operation from 01.05.1997 after bifurcation of TNSTC Madurai erstwhile PRC. On initial days TNSTC Virudhunagar had buses built from TNSTC Coimbatore, TNSTC Kumbakonam, TNSTC Karaikudi, TNSTC Nagercoil and its Parent Division TNSTC Madurai. After setting up a body building unit at Virudhunagar Head Office. They showed their skills in Bodybuilding in each and every batch they differentiated them from others. one of the best were their Chennai Buses operated from Aruppukkottai they were on par with Prakash P6000 model.
