SETC 166AC Chennai Rameshwaram

SETC New AC Bus replaced on existing Chennai Rameshwaram route. The New AC Bus started its service from today 05.04.2016 it will be operated by Chennai ‘B’ Central Depot located on Pallavan Salai. This is the second Non District HQ Destination. First to operate was Velankanni which is very close to District HQ Nagai, But Rameshwaram is 60 Kms away from its District HQ. Rameshwaram being Important destination and Birth Place of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam it is wise to operate from here itself. SETC Officials should name it as “Pamban Express” or “Kalam Express” to honour Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
