SETC which started to run ac in Thoothukudi Chennai route has been named as Muthunagar A/c. As Muthu (Pearl) cultivation is famous on the city by historic period Thoothukudi got the name as Muthunagar in tamil, to honour our city Muthunagar name have been kept, the same is for our express train also which runs in Chennai route by SR.
