5500 Buses got damaged in Rain

Due to Heavy rain, floods in Chennai and surroundings. MTC TNSTC Villupuram operated many special bus services. 5500 Buses got damaged in many buses air suspension, spring leaves, air filters have been damaged. In many depots infrastructures have been damaged in this rain, still water logging inside depots, Buses have been parked idle in depots Minor issues and some temporary maintenance only done. 5500 Buses in MTC, TNSTC Villupuram, TNSTC Cuddalore, TNSTC Kancheepuram have been damaged accounting to an loss of 300 crores. Govt should allot separate funds from the Flood allocations says Mr.Sekar secretary of CITU for Press. Thanks to Ramsrr SSC for sharing this news.
