“Puthiyavan” Tirunelveli Tenkasi LSS
From the pages of history TN-72N-0891 “Puthiyavan” on Tirunelveli Tenkasi route.
TN-72N-0891
The bus was introduced in 1999, body built by TNSTC Trichy. The Bus was first introduced as “Muthalvan” PP Point to Point in Thoothukudi – Tirunelveli route from Kattabomman Nagar Depot later in 2002 it was transferred to Bypass Depot, then TN-72N-0891 was replaced by TN-72N-0913 in 2003. The unknown Media clip below is preserved by Ramkumar from Avudaiyanoor, Tenkasi. The bus in the media clip is TN-72N-0891 “Puthiyavan” which was running temporarily for TN-72N-0905 which went for re-fabrication in 2004. TN-72N-0891 was scrapped earlier but its sibling TN-72N-0892 was running till mid of 2014. These period were golden period of TNSTC Nellai every bus was glittering in hands of crews. they cared their buses as their own one., Neat stickering works and lighting were done. these guys were a night mare for private operators.

TN-72N-0892
Its sibling TN-72N-0892 which was introduced in 1999 as “Sathya” PP Point to Point in Thoothukudi – Tirunelveli route from Srivaikundam Depot it was replaced by TN-72N-0912 in 2003. It was transferred to 75C Srivaikundam – Sankarankovil route. Later in 2007 it was changed to city and worked on Srivaikundam – Nellai Junction route. In 2010 it was transferred to Thoothukudi City Depot and worked on M54, 55C and on its last day in 2014 worked for route no 3 Thoothukudi – Kollemparambu.
In 2010 when it was transferred to Thoothukudi City Depot.
On its last day in 2014 working for no 3 Thoothukudi – Kollemparambu.
