TNSTC Nagercoil get Buses Transferred from Other Divisions.

Towards a new path

TNSTC Nagercoil which has been criticized by media continuously for its old buses have been overcome from the crisis by getting 100 buses which are 3 yrs old i.e. after October 2012 from other Divisions. The Innovation behind this was done after the visit of Transport Minister Mr.P.Thangamani the problem faced in Kanyakumari District was discussed by him with TNSTC officials and buses from other divisions reached last week and came into operation on 15.10.2015 one by one. We welcome this new move and hope transport issues in Kanyakumari will gradually come to an end.

Villupuram – 20
Salem – 20
Kumbakonam – 20
Madurai – 20
Coimbatore – 15
SETC – 5

In this the out of the 5 UD’s 4 have been deployed in Chennai route. Some photos of the transferred buses.

TN-32N-3785 of Kanyakumari Depot Route 622 Kanyakumari – Kumuli via Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Rajapalayam, Theni.
Ex Virudhachalam – Bengaluru from TNSTC Cuddalore Virudhachalam Depot.
