Novel initiative from TNSTC Salem supported by Mahindra City SEZ – Chennai

Thinking out of box – a term which was slowly fading out of the dictionary our beloved TNSTC’s got a shot in the arm recently with the initiative from TNSTC – Salem.  Eyeing the huge flow of passengers on weekends from the Chennai IT hubs to the TN hinterlands, service running from the Tech park door steps to Salem and Hosur were launched.  Start of these service from IT hubs (Siruseri and Mahindra City) to Salem and Hosur was covered recently in TNSTCblog. Link. Techies who had to spend painfull hours reaching CMBT or Perungalathur to catch buses to their natives have now an alternate quick option.

Mahindra City SEZ which houses big names like the Infy, Renault Nissan Tech Center, BMW, Capegemini supported this new bus service by sharing the service details to the employees of firms housed in the SEZ.
