Kumuli – Bengauru (875C UD ) is one of the well known service operated by SETC – Madurai depot . Faced with a stiff competition from the private operators this service has survived with a decent occupancy . SETC has always deployed buses in fair condition on this route . Boarding points are provided for even small towns like Uttamapalayam,Chinnamannur.

For the people preferring for a low cost travel TNSTC – Salem has an ordinary service departing from Kumuli a hour later ( i.e 8:00 PM ) directly to Bengaluru. This is an year old service and happens to be a unique one among all TNSTC ordinary as the origin and destination points are not part of Tamilnadu ) . In return this bus does a cut trip till Salem from Bengaluru
Note : Surprisingly KSRTC has withdrawn their Rajahamsa Bengaluru – Kumuli service recently .
