SETC’s Hosur depot to be opened soon.

Civil works for the upcoming depot for SETC at Hosur is near completion and we may expect to be operational in the near future. This facility is located on the same compound of present TNSTC – Salem’s Hosur mofussil and Hosur town depots. The total area is spread across 6 acres and out of that an approximate of  1.5 acres has been allotted to SETC with a separate entry/exit point . The maintenance shed is provided with 4 bays .

If our predictions are right this new depot will get a good amount of Chennai – Bangalore services along with few South & Delta bound services originating from Hosur. As SETC is the last preferred choice for the passengers in Chennai – Bangalore luxury segment , a greater responsibility lies with this new depot in making over the bad image .

Once operational this facility would be the first of it’s kind in entire Tamilnadu to host Moffusil / City and SETC depots with in a single complex.
