Ramanathapuram – Rajapalayam Non Identical twins
Ramanathapuram to Rajapalayam service by TNSTC Karaikudi is operated in two different routes to benefit the public. Although now Karaikudi region is under the control of Kumbakonam once it was bifurcated from PRC current TNSTC Madurai. Till 1991 Aruppukottai Depot was under the control of Karaikudi Region only, so these routes are handled by TNSTC Kumbakonam controlled Karaikudi Region. Both these routes are operated by Ramanathapuram Depot
Route 1 TN-63N-1317 : Ramanathapuram – Rajapalayam via Paramakudi, Manamadurai, Madurai, Thirumangalam, T.Kallupatti, Srivilliputtur. This route is a straight one via AH 43 to reach Madurai. From Madurai it touches Thirumangalam in NH 7 and from there takes NH 208 to reach Rajapalayam. The service on a single one way takes 200 Kms and for a total journey 400 Kms.
Route 2 TN-63N-1227 : Ramanathapuram – Rajapalayam via Paramakudi, Kamuthi, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar, Sivakasi, Srivilliputtur. From Paramakudi this route take SH 29, SH 47, SH 38, SH 42 to reach Sivakasi passes through two NH connects major town Aruppukottai on NH 45B and Virudhunagar on NH7 and villages enroute. The service on a single one way takes 175 Kms and for a total journey 350 Kms.

1.From PARAMAKUDI to PUDUCHERRY -via.KARAKKUDI, PUDUKKOTTAI, THANJAVUR, KUMBAKONAM, VADALUR, CUDDALORE.
2.From RAMNATHAPURAM to PUDUCHERRY -via.KARAKKUDI, PUDUKKOTTAI, THANJAVUR, KUMBAKONAM, VADALUR, CUDDALORE.
3.From RAMNATHAPURAM to PUDUCHERRY-via.THONDI, PATTUKKOTTAI, KUMBAKONAM, VADALUR, CUDDALORE.
