Route Numbers in Destination Boards
In the past Weeks TNSTC Madurai Dindigul Region Started to display its Route numbers in Destination boards for all its Mofussil services and long runners, after a week now TNSTC Madurai Virudhunagar Region also does the same a welcome move by the Transport corporations. Now the buses have the same livery for all its express services this leads to the aged people and others to board a wrong one when the buses are parked in motels for bio breaks. The Transport corporation have overcome this now the route numbers on destination boards is a releif to the passengers. but still some confusions arises in public. Dindigul region uses 111 for it Dindigul – Thiruchendur Service and TNSTC Tirunelveli uses the same number 111 for its Kovilpatti – Thiruchendur, TNSTC Virudhunagar uses 700A for its interstate service Madurai – Kollam service on other side TNSTC Madurai uses 700 for its city Service between Periyar and Mattuthavanai. A new comer from other states and Language unknown people will stick to this route numbers only so the corporations should make a commitee and the confusing numbers should be changed and the individual region route numbers must be removed and a single number for a route should be implemented by Trans Dept. for example when KTC, NTC and PRC where there the three corporation used a single number for their route 505 Madurai – Nagercoil route all the three displayed the same numbers it should come back again to help passengers.

I request Similar efforts by TNSTC-MADURAI Division to Introduce New Super-Deluxe Express Services to the following Routes – Preferably in DAY-TIME:
1.From MADURAI to PUDUCHERRY -via. THANJAVUR, KUMBAKONAM, VADALUR, CUDDALORE.
2.From MADURAI to PUDUCHERRY -via. TIRUCHY, VILLUPURAM.
3.From DINDIGUL to PUDUCHERRY -via. TIRUCHY, THANJAVUR, KUMBAKONAM, VADALUR, CUDDALORE.
4.From DINDIGUL to PUDUCHERRY -via. TIRUCHY, VILLUPURAM.
5.From KOLLAM to PUDUCHERRY -via. PUNALUR, SHENCOTTAH, MADURAI, TIRUCHY, VILLUPURAM.
