Nostalgic Pic of TNSTC Madurai in 2000

A great thanks to Madhan.M in SSC for sharing this Nostalgic Pic from 2000, two buses are in this Nostalgic pic taken by Nick Schwable during his trip in India. The one clearly seen is TN-58N-0366 and the other on front is TN-57N-072x Seires bus.

The Body of the bus was built by TNSTC salem Namakkal BBU in 1997 – 2000 period, their trade mark flower Symbol is on the rear glass, TNSTC salem use the word TSTC – சேலம் in their buses the same style has been adopted in this bus too as TSTC – மதுரை. One more Nostalgic info when individual Transport corporations become TNSTC in 1997, Every divison started to use Fleet Code for their buses you can see in this bus also on left the depot markings as உசி belongs to Usilampatti Depot and on the right behibd the ladder HHS 1044 code on this bus. It was running between Madurai – Cumbum operated by Usilampatti Depot.

The body was built by Bathlagundu BBU of TNSTC Dindigul, Belongs to Theni Depot and run on Theni – Madurai as Ordinary fare bus.

TN-58N-0366 of Usilampatti Depot.
