TN39 – The new registration number for Tirupur region buses

Tirupur region of TNSTC-Coimbatore was inaugurated on 17-Dec-2010 and following are the depots were attached to it.
From Coimbatore region
1. Tirupur, now referred as Tirupur-1
2. Palladam
3. Udumalpet
4. Palani, now referred as Palani-1
From Erode region
1. Tirupur, now referred as Tirupur-2
2. Kangeyam
3. Dharapuram
4. Palani, now referred as Palani-2

Tirupur-1 depot was acting as the HO for Tirupur region and till september 2012, Tirupur region buses were registered with TN38/TN33 RTOs. We were actually waiting to see whether they will register the new buses of Tirupur region in their own registration number(TN39/TN42). In the inauguration held on 6-Sep-12, we got new buses of Tirupur region registered with TN39. So the youngest region of TNSTCs got its own Registration numbers. Below are some of the new TN39 registered buses of Tirupur region.

TN39 N 0023, Sakthi coach built TML bus of Tirupur region’s Udumalpet depot waiting inside Pollachi BS with Gopi board.

TN38 and TN39 together.. Both are TML and one is heading to Tirupur and the other is to Gopi.
